Guys, I will be pretty much out of pocket for the next three weeks. We're driving down to Houston for what will probably be my last major check-up and treatment by MD Anderson.

I will check in in the evenings from my hotel rooms as we travel and when we get down there.

Probably only a short time, and a number of days not at all.

You guys have fun!

My wife and I had the great pleasure of eating dinner with fellow SD member Equation this evening at Luby's Cafeteria near MD Anderson Cancer Center.

We had a GREAT time. Ate and talked...trading stories for over two hours!

My wife and I had the great pleasure of eating dinner with fellow SD member Equation this evening at Luby's Cafeteria near MD Anderson Cancer Center.

We had a GREAT time. Ate and talked...trading stories for over two hours!

To let folks know...we got the results back from my annual checkup with our neurosurgeon today.

No new cancer.
Bone fusion proceeding far better than expected.
Existing small spots of cancer growing very slowly.
Existing small spots of cancer not currently a danger for years.
We will proceed over the next two weeks to use very surgical, stereo-tactic radiation to treat those areas.

Thanks or all of your thoughts, encouragement, and prayers.

I have faith in God in Heaven, and His Son, my Savior, Jesus Christ. I believe Jesus Christ saves people from the ill effects of sin in the hereafter if they will internally accept Him and try sincerely to follow His law to love others as themselves, to be kind, loving, respectful, and simply follow His example. I also believe that because of His resurrection, all of us will be raised and live forever one day.

Having said that, I also respect every person's right to believe as they choose...so long as it does nor infringe on other people's rights and freedom...whatever it is they choose to believe or not to believe.

As a result, I will always do the best I can, but in the end accept God's will for me because I trust Him completely.

If He wants me home...no power on earth can keep me here.

If He wants me to tarry a little longer, no power on earth will be able to destroy me.

It is in His hands and I give Him all the thanks and glory. It is then mine to behave well, to try and help others, and to be as good as I can until His call comes.

Again, thanks to all for your kind words of encouragement, your thoughts, and your prayers.
