Yes. I request people please stop crossposting to reddit so often, especially pictures which are lame and of no particular utility jfc
But pappi does create good buzz among the MP redditors. That is a positive. Previously any chinese related post would had been downvoted to oblivion or people simply troll military equipment as inferior or just a cheap knockoff.

Chinese infantry gear is nothing to be either proud or interested in, and showing too much deference and exposure towards it, despite how it is portrayed, always ends up with the inevitable conclusions that 1: they are still very much behind either in quality or in proliferation or both, and 2: that there are much more substantial domains of PLA advancement.

I used to occasionally post pictures on reddit as well, even for those more important domains, but it's not a tide worth fighting.

At the very least be more selective and tasteful in the pictures that one chooses to post there (and not specific to him, but others that may be reading as well)

It isn't worth fighting against , for the most part many military watchers/ hobbyist , especially those on the internet have this tendency to be "gear guys" . Meaning they tend to view everything as how this item will effect combat capabilities, cause that the easiest thing to talk about, it's the same with car guys talking about cylinder size and not how do drive better.
In this context ,PLA infantry gear are lacking behind but in doctrine it matters very little in a high intensity near peer fight , a infantry squad given few drones and a leaser designator probably will add more to the capability then giving them a new gun sight. But there is no point trying to explain to them that guns only account to about 20% of casualty.

You would think after losing so many wargames against the Chinese even after giving themselves a better scenario and nerfing us to oblivion as well as forcing us to use shitty doctrine, they would've wised up by now and understood that the whole is more important than the sum of its parts. Let them have their ego boost, it's the only thing they have.
