Wow are these commandos

They look like PLAAF based on the rather distinctive and silly service flag patches. Almost makes me wonder why they bother with the rest of the service flag patch being low profile when you have that strip of light blue.

If those weren't there, they'd look much more mission ready externally lol, perhaps the most mission ready we've seen PLA operators for a while.

Though I wonder what sort of drill they're practicing out here in the open grass. The hand on the back is more for CQB and breaching in urban/confined spaces to my knowledge.
Two columns of four, so maybe they're just doing a breaching/CQB drill outside.

This is their Navy(Sorry, airforce) flag, only need to tear them up/cover them in war.
But it looks like USSR Ukraine flag from a distance LOL
