The 95 weighs about 7.2 pounds according to Wikipedia while a m4 weighs 7.4 pounds loaded (without attachments). If that's the case and the 191 was loaded, that's really good since the user won't tire quickly and the gun can be raised for a longer period of time than the 95 can.
Lots and ifs ands and buts here.
First because of the way a Bullpup balances… to quote a short sighted mad Titan
Perfectly balanced as all things should be..
When shouldered more of the weight falls on the shoulder and the bones. Where the 191 would fall more on the muscle. Again Bullpup have advantages but also detractions. Even if the rifle is lighter.
Next configuration of the weapon also matters a lot. QBZ191 has a shorter barrel length. Barrels are made of steel which is denser than aluminum or polymer. In M4 the weightIs 7.46 pounds but in the A1 it’s 7.75 that increase from a heavier barrel profile to compensate for complaints about issues of barrel life cycle and heat. Another cause of weight is as I pointed out aluminum vs polymer and QBZ191 we know by default comes with a polymer hand guard where most M4A1 and residual M4 now are fitted with aluminum RIS. That takes the weight up some switch back to a polymer M4 you get 7.3 pounds.
If you go to the DMR of the 19 family it’s going to be heavier. Add the RIS it’s going to be heavier. Then you add in accessories and it’s going to be heavier.
