I bought the 510C RDS myself a little while ago.
Not because I have a gun to put it on, but because it looked neat and is aesthetically pleasing on my shelf.
I might buy the HM3x magnifier one day to go with it

I just noticed, in the first picture, the guy is shooting from the left shoulder but with right hand.

Is that a thing?

I presume that is to allow to shoot from cover with more of the body exposed than if the butt was in the right shoulder.
But I think usually soldiers just train to shoot from the left hand instead...

Shooting from the left shoulder with the right hand is not something I've seen before

Edit:

Hmmm seems like it is a thing.

Note the open reflex sights.

Holosun 510Cs if my eyes are not failing me. Decent choice, but I wish they had gone with the 512C instead.

The biggest(and basically only) issue with the 510C is the open emitter, which the 512C addresses with the fully enclosed housing.

Open emitters are just fine for everyday civilian use, but could become an issue for military issue due to the risk of mud and other debris obstructing the open emitter, which could be fiddly to clear, especially with combat gloves on. With a fully closed emitter, a simple and quick wipe with a thumb on the windows will sort it.

Depends on dominance and training. Everyone knows about hand dominance. Few realize it goes more than that. You also have eye dominance even foot dominance. Few people have the ability to emulate the degree of fine motor control with the lesser organ. IE shoot both left and right handed. It takes time and practice lots and lots of practice. Of course the QBZ95 wasn’t forgiving of that type of operation. If you tried you would be eating brass
Can a grip be added so the soldiers don't have to hold the barrel directly?
They are not holding the Barrel directly. They are holding the hand guard that prevents them from doing something that stupid. Even with a vertical grip you are still in contact with the hand guard.
