Great picture indeed, but when i see so many SSK in port it asks one question, what are they doing in port, they should be out on patrols! but makes for a good photo shot anyway
i believe the Chinese SSK will work with the Second Artillary Corps and PLAAF in a Taiwan attack, where the Artillary Corps and PLAAF are tasked to take down and destroy Taiwans defence to establish a secure Taiwan Strait which will allow the Navy to transport the PLA across the Taiwan straits
the SSK will form a safety net beyond Taiwan to stop any USN assets reaching Taiwan, like a defensive ring under water to face USN SSN, which would be sailing well ahead of any US carrier strike group
this is why i say, the Type 071 LPD, Type 072 III and Zubrs etc will be for the 12,000 PLAN Marines made up of two brigades which are for island and reef defences etc and not part of a Taiwan invasion force
there are either 8 or 10 Yuan in this flotilla. So, the other 2 to 4 could be out on patrols.
US Military analysts have reported for some time that the first two 093s were not quiet enough for the PLAN and that some changes were made to improve them and that four of this improved version would be built. Some online talk right now... so have it with some salt
Four 093B are planned. One was built last year and 2-4 are in various stages of construction.

My impression was that two of them had already been launched.
Also, FYI, the phrase is, "take it with a grain of salt," meaning don't put too much confidence in it.
However, in this case, given the sources I have heard it from, I think it is probable.
I think the major question here is whether the 093B and 095 are the same boat or not, and whether the improved 094 with 16 SLBM and 096 are the same thing or not.
But until we get official confirmation or photographs of the thing, we should all remain somewhat suspicious.
