Some folks in the USN calls that the carrier killer.
The SS-N 22 and her sister variants are all very serious ashm and garonteee to ensure that you and your shipmates will have a very very bad day if it reached out and touched you.

That's only because of the Moskit missiles, but you've to deploy it in the Soviet Navy's fashion (part of the mass missile assault from all points on the compass) against the carrier battle group to be a serious threat; alas PLAN has only 4 ships (or launch platforms, to be exact), and that they didn't adopt the concept - whether it's the complication of the ramjet technology or other we ain't sure - and instead stick with developing sub-sonic missiles.

They want those ships to "fill the gap" and weapon systems for their technologies, which'd be more logical explaination.

PLAN no. 138 is now at Sino-Russian Joint Naval Exercise (II) in Russia now...
Period of exercise is from 20th Aug to 28th Aug. There would be various modules to exercise between the two navies. This is the part two of this year's joint naval exercise, earlier this year in China, part was concluded.

It isn't engine room but the tunnel shat line and rudder room.
