Ah I just realise iOS6 on iPad doesn't have ruler tool, can only do that from my laptop which I seldom use!

How does the dimensions of the this pier compare with the pier for the Liaoning?

The two carrier bases are essentially identical, as I have mentioned a couple of times.

The LIAONING pier at Jiaonan-Xiaokouzi measures 580 x 120 m. The carrier pier at Yulin-Jinmujiao measures 730 x 120 m, but because of the boulders at the foot of the pier, the useful length of thi sone is also 580 m. They both have a building measuring 110 x 30 m at the centre of the pier.

This is of course obtained from GE. How you can do without passes my comprehension…

I must have missed that thanks!

Could mean the next Chinese indigenous carrier will be the size of the Liaoning or bigger, having said that 580 meters is still a massive pier!

The first two rows I would guess Kumara/sweet potatos. They are easy to grow, grows fast and the leaves can be eaten along with the sweet potato themselves.

There's some grown in the back garden of our house :p

Perhaps we need to add more new (yellow) elements on Yulin Naval Base (white) expansion :)
Possible facility for carriers already observed, but there's feeling that among a lot of other big things, a cave (for subs?) might be under construction too. What do you think?
