Check the length of the deck very long from this angle, it measures just shy of 70m and the surface looks very good

Interesting vessel, is it some sort of tug? For a small vessel (relative to the warships in the exercise), it's got a pretty large exhaust.
Not a tug, it is some sort of coastal patrol craft. The US operates 14 larger, 350 ton, 180 ft Cyclone class patrol ships, but the new Mark VI patrol craft would really be more similar to this boat. 85 ft long and 70 tons.

The US Coast Guard also maintains large numbers of similar craft or maritime patrol and security.

When the US Navy Tico cruiser and the PLAN Type 054A FFG and DDG-113 docked together recently, apparently they did a little more than that as well. Here ya go:
