Exactly. This one is for the CVBG fleet train.
I think these ships are meant to provide support to PLAN Carrier Groups and large Amphibious groups.
They have plenty of smaller AORs that have already proven themselves very capable in supporting smaller SAGs like what we see in the anti-piracy missions.
But that is just my opinion. They may well send them a time or two on those just to get them the experience.
But make no mistake, these large fast AORs are for carrier support predominantly IMHO.
This one looks like the AOR. Anxiously awaiting better, higher resolution shots of this baby.
