Or even THE main base, as it not only houses 3 and 6 Destroyer Flotillas, but Zhoushan Support Base, as the official name is, also comprises Daxiedao and Xiangshan submarine bases (22 and 42 Submarine Flotillas).

Yeah ,GSI launched it at May 31 .Apparently a fifth 903 was just launched? Can anyone confirm the photo?

How come no one saw no modules no construction and no photos?? How did we miss this huge huge development a entire replenishment tanker?? This is totally amazing it means China has realised they need these units and who is to say there is not more planned? We need more coverage from GSI this is just as important as a DDG in my opinion as without resupply China can't operate from it's shores far away
So this is the 5th Type 903/A!!! Wow this is why I love following PLAN always expect the unexpected big development
This is what China should have done with the Type 071 LPD just keep launching them like 9-12 of them in total

I could see fleet supply ships for more blue water operations, but not more LPDs since there's less need for them at the moment.

These ships can also act as command and control platforms and centre of operations and operate independently
