Of course, this was a photo op, but they are obviously using that board and it would be interesting to see that board in an actual training exercise.

It would give us a better idea of the intended air wing...though we all know it will be something on the order of 18-24 J-15s.

US could have 4 carriers in the Persian Gulf they will still not attack Iran nor will Israel its in no ones interest

Because the consequences are greater than just a initial attack, Pakistan has clearly stated any US attack on Iran is unacceptable, US and Pakistan have a close historical relationship going back decades and theres no way either county would want to get on the wrong side of the other

The last thing Pakistan needs is another destabilised neighbour and US knows it, as for Israel if they threaten Iran with nukes then Pakistan also has over 100 nuclear warheads and Shaheen III can hit 4500km away

Lets move now to brighter news Apparently , on August 16th Mig-29K landed on INS Vikramaditya with full combat load . Now they are moving on testing maximum take-off weight :

What will be the max weight of that Mig-29? Will they be able to launch with a full "bag of fuel" Without enough fuel the Mig-29 missions will be limited.

I believe that the Mig-29K was developed for the Indians, per their request, specifically with buddy stroe refueling capability to help in precisely this area.
