My personal opinion is that J15 can do anti-ship and surface attack from Ski jump and that it is not only a air superiority fighter

The pictures of J-15 552 with two under-wing YJ-83 and two PL-5C on the wing tips taking off from the LIAONING are in Deino's post # 3632 - seems a very reasonable weapons load!

Yeah from the same video here's 554 landing with 552 on the deck, hopefully we start to see more of these kind of pictures where the deck slowly slowly gets more busier

Impressive and indicative of the PLAN now doing weapons load out qualifications on the carrier.

Those appear to be inert or training weapons. They should weigh the same as a live round.

Two PL-8s and two YJ-83Ks/KD-88s aren't a massive payload, but demonstrates finally now that the PLAN do intend on operating J-15 as a strike platform.

We can be sure that is a fairly light loadout and that we can see J-15 with more weapons (although we won't know what kind of fuel load it will haul even with a large loadout). But still, that is two 200km class stand off weapons, that by the looks of things, will be one of the first A2G weapons integrated on J-15.
With the large fuel load of the flanker platform, you have a very long range strike fighter not too different to the F-14C before it was axed from service.

Good to see pictures of J-15 taking off with dummy ordinances. According to the news anchor, they have already performed takeoffs with maximum load. Here is what I said exactly one month ago:
With the latest Liaoning voyage, we shall see night training as well as take off with ordinances.

That should disprove once for all the myth that Stobar is no good because J15 can only carry self defense weapon suit and cannot act as a striker Now where is Mr Erickson and his side kick Gabe Collins.? I haven't seen their prescient analysis lately
