I like Shanghai, but I thought PLAN CVs are named after China's provinces?
Shanghai is a direct-controlled municipality which is province level on administration. Said that I don't know if municipalities are counted when they say "name with provinces" in the naming rule.
But I think Shanghai is still primarily a city, so it won't feel "legit" to be considered a province. Just my opinion.
Liaoning, the province where the ship was rebuild (Dalian) - what about the province, where the ships homeport will be - like Shandong, Hainan
