Neither is LM 2500 or LM 6000 Yet they are used in Naval Construction
Why it has to be naval? It is enclosed inside the room Where is the naval come from?
I imagine weight to power ratio, lead time to max output, specific power, reliability standards, and corrosion resistance are all important factors for naval gas turbines.

Well did you read it has 36% efficiency which is very good What power ratio are you talking about ?
Reliability is no problem in naval application because you have distributed power and built in redundancy by having spare GT unlike in jet fighter.

What corrosion ingestion ? You can pretreated the air by passing to a chevron so the water droplet fell off Any any material that can withstand 2700 deg F will most likely made of Ni_Mo which is very corrosion resistant

It's not going to be used in any naval ships. It's going to be used to generate electricity for civilian purposes.

The hangar has the same forward end as in Liaoning? That is not, what we expect?
I can't say for others, but it is what I expected.

A month ago, I said:
Yes, new build, but not a new design. Modification would require some redesign, but based on recent development, I believe PLAN is being ultra conservative and that there isn't going to be any difference between this ship and Liaoning.

People need to understand that an important purpose of 001A is to give China experience in building a carrier, not in designing one.
