LOL -- speak for yourself, I was happy with the transparency we had at the time because I knew the chances of the Navy being even more open was simply a dream we couldn't hold onto.
Ok I shall speak for myself..... I was bamboozled!

Jaybird...ENOUGH already. We've already seen pictures of 15 J-15s from 100-114, it's not really outlandish to think there could be 20 J-15s already
Being one of the most popular military forum in China, I would think you need some kind credibility and knowledge to be qualify as one of the Air Force forum moderator in CJDBY
I think is worth posting here the information to share with fellow members and debate about it, it's up to the individual members here to believe or dismiss the information. That's all.
This will do?What's the maximum number of airplanes which could previously be counted on a photo of Kuznetsov or Liaoning? More than 12? Does anyone have a link to such an image?
Is the wing size of 24 flankers of Kuznetsov hangar only? Russian navy requires the carrier capable to store all of her aircraft in hangar during extreme sea conditions. Thus Liaoning, which operate in comparative modest water, could potentially have a considerably larger air wing by stationing some aircraft on deck permanently (like most other navy)?
You can fit 20 Flankers and 10 Helix in the hangar comfortably, so 24 Flankers definitely can be fitted if you move some of the helicopters to the deck. You might be able to somehow fit 24 flankers in the hangar, but they would be quite closely packed.
I don't think there would be enough space left for helicopters and for moving the planes around.
