So GT just posted this over on CDF, what appears to be a module of a large ship, with a hangar like space in it, and a cavity on the side of the hull for what may be an elevator.
I'm wondering if it could be the first module for a carrier.
Comparing it with pics of modules of QE, it does share some similarities.
I looked for similar pics of the USS Ford under construction, but it didn't seem to be built in modules as large as the QE.
There is a slight issue with the picture I posted, that is to say, the hangar space seems to be rather small compared to the rest of the ship, but comparing the width of the elevator with the width of the hangar, it seems to be a similar ratio with other carriers:

Basically, I think that picture definitely is something we should keep an eye on, and to my amateur eye looks suspiciously like a large cross sectional module of a carrier, even if the hangar appears a tad small... What do you guys think?
(btw, this picture at the moment seems completely unrelated to the picture at JNCX of the LHA/D)
