Even amateur military enthusiasts understand the concept of tyranny of distance and the inverse relationship between distance and cost to project power. Way to go contradicting the last 300 years of military science.

It’s a form of magical thinking. Because X is the most advanced and powerful then laws of physics don’t necessarily apply.

Russians have proved that they are not superpower as they are not able to defeat their smaller neighbor Ukraine.
America has also proved that they are not superpower by leaving their ally Ukraine in a lurch.
Now only one superpower is left which has potential to degrade both America and Russia i.e. China and they are preparing to show their capacity in 2027 by capturing Taiwan.

I was hoping double digit with this geopolitics uncertainty .... 12-15% would be better ... but 7.2% is equivalent to ~$17B increase, not bad as just the increase ~$17B is more than Taiwan's military budget and more than any countries outside the top 20, including Iran, Indonesia, Vietnam, Turkey and Singapore

A mysterious missile vehicle spotted (first image, red box). It carries two very large missile canisters. Any idea what might this be? A ballistic missile interceptor?
