Anyone know what rifle this is?
Magazine seems less curved than 81 and stock also different.

Could it be a special training rifle? I would imagine that troops sent overseas would have the latest gear.

It is just an AKS 74. The Chinese didn't bring their rifles with them to Belarus.

No doubt it’s an AKS 74 the wire stock tell tail muzzle device and front sight post.
Guess they packed light for the trip. Then again only a company sized element so I don’t imagine they brought much in the way of weapons or logistics. Sure they flew in on a Y20 but still for a trip that far and that short.

Its not important but why don't they bring their own rifles

Lol, I asked that exact same question in another thread.
For a small exchange, maybe the logistics just don't warrant it.
Issue rifles, issue ammo, issue mags, etc.
Someone probably said "not worth it!"

Foreign weapons and ttp familiarization. The Chinese don't officially have rifles chambered in 5.45, and the Belarusians can show to them how they use their rifles on the field. Also do note that Russia's Wagner Group did teach the Belarusians a lot of lessons learned in Ukraine, so the Chinese most likely want to maximize the Belarusians counterparts' teaching capabilities by not introducing new variables such as their rifles into the fray.
