God, did you bothered to read the posts before wolf here started his personal attack? Steel bird asked why is this female soldier holding her weapon in a way that is contrary to good marksmanship principles? I answered, don't look too much into it, she's probably not a door kicker and this is likely a PR shoot. Then the personal attacks started. Is your PLA so precious that it can bear no criticism?

"It's a PR shoot" would have been enough.

You have the right to criticize as much as others have the right to call out your criticism if it's seen as gratuitous or an excuse to make cheap shots.

Then there's the slightly sexist element in your remark. So yeah.

also, criticism of the PLA is not exactly uncommon here. Bemoaning things like lack of body armour for all troops, blue camo schemes for marines, continued usage of old AFVs, slow engine progress, need to have more realistic exercises, and frustration at lack of publicly disclosed information and excessively stylized PR shots are all common and accepted criticisms. There is a difference between a valid criticism and a cheap shot with no intent other than spite.

She's a pretty girl used in a propaganda shoot. Don't expect her to be high speed low drag.

Closing one eye while looking through a holo sight...Pretty much tells you everything you need to know.

Good thing that they're never used loaded then.

That's not a holo sight.

You called her a "pretty girl in a propaganda shoot", when she is showing like 4 square inches of her face. That's a pretty sexist remark, IMO.

Lol. My radar for attractive Asian female is inept tuned. From that 4 inches I can tell she's a looker. But if it pleases you I retract my statement. "A female warrior in a propaganda shoot". Happy?

calling soldiers "warriors" is a silly trend. did it started with the "transformational" folks in the Pentagon?
I'd take a disciplined soldier over Conan the Barbarian any day.

Look, if you don't want to accept that the particular phrase you used was sexist and dismissive, then that's fine, no problem, we'll move on.

But continuing to sarcastically prance around the matter without a yes/no is just childish.

That's not a holo sight.

That CS/LS2 SMG is using the default iron sight, just installed a slot or 2 forward than usual, probably because the shooter can't get the focus in its default position.

And personally, I find the QCW05 (the model which the military adopted, and which the CS/LS2 develop from) is better design primary the dimension wise, as the QCW05 is "just right" that'd make the CS/LS2 being too short.

Another correction, she is not in the PLA. Her camouflage patterned clothing is issued to units of the Peoples Armed Police.
Sorry broccoli I can't ID the pistol based on the grip visible from her holster.

what's that sidearm she's carrying in the holster?

My guess is the Makarov PM semi-automatic pistol (Soviet made). Although it's chrome plated with a white material handle, one can see by the curve at the handle it looks like a Makarov pistol.

Here's a comparison. It's in black color.

This, and the fact that the QCW/QCQ-05 has a four-row stacked 50 round magazine for 5.8x21mm.

Through, again with all Chinese bullpup small arms, a flat top upper with picatinny rails like the CS/LS2 would improve it trememdously.

JS9 variant without the silencer.

No it's not. Look at the Trigger guard and sights. Its the JS9/LS2 9mm version. the Qcw05 has profile more akin to the QBZ95-1 and carry handle irons. unless that is you know of a new version that has the body of a Js9 but packs the rounds of the CQW 05..... that would rock my socks.
