That had come to mind but I am not happy with it as that should be the pins we see on the side. Only thing that makes sense to me is if Pumpkin is also trying out a new Gas block or the gas black key has been modified and the maker is not ready to showcase their new feature.

That's the point, they've yet to ready the product so in order not to give their competition a jump ahead, that part is "classified as of now". As long as the new gas block head works as well as the old one does, the sell point of the mod kit is always the new upper cover.

Yet, this will still be for the law enforcement only because the military has yet come to the Picatinny rail system.

Changing the Gas block is a functional Change to the operation of the weapon. All selective fire or Semiautomatic weapons are gas operated,the only difference is the mechanics of the Gas system. So IF they did change the Gas block It could be a major change.

That's the QBZ-95-1, the newer variant of the QBZ-95, and that has the small forward grip removed, replaced with conventional trigger guard because of the new grenade launcher.

This "new" mod kit obviously the less aggressive option, which seems to require almost nothing to be removed.

The problem I see with the design of the QBZ is the placement of the charging handle. Even sans the handle the darn thing is still in the way. How are you going to put any sort of rail kit on the middle upper?

Note the device attached to the scope it looks like a reflector system intended to allow shooting around Corners.

My guess is the Dial on top would allow the user to turn the reflector inside selecting which port they look through. I am guessing a opening on three sides

The new rail looks pretty cool, and more and more like a Famas, but nicer. With such concern on the handle bar, why didn't they make the Type-95 into a Type-88 shape rifle

How the hell do you get a proper cheek weld on that thing?

Your guess is as good as anyones. My guess it at this point the PLA is trying to teach a more Shoot form the hip mentality where the Shooter is supposed to more aline there Eyes to the sight rather then there sights to there eyes.
