It looks like a night vision scope. Scopes like this are usually massive.

It may even be a scope that incorporates multiple functions, like that of the L3Harris NGSW scope or the old French scope that is part of the Felin program.

I never liked that set up that and the old millennium era land warrior scope look like they took a late 1990s early 2000’s camcorder and bolted it on the rifle.

naw the worst thing about those was the keyboard on arms. it really lets you appreciate how revolutionary the touch screen on smart phones is.

I've seen the T-5000 and could understand a Remington 700 being used but G36C and Glock? I've never seen that before.
