You may be surprised that them YouTubers (specifically, those with focus on military technology topics) suddenly have interest on Chinese stuff in the last 2 months...

Is only white people considered laowai? I'm pretty sure that there have been lots of pictures of Arab/Africans on the expo.
Nope laowai is just a term referring to foreigners. By78 is just joking how even foreigners are interested in Chinese firearms. If you look at the previous pics, the photos only consist of Chinese media personal.
Fml. My bad then. I was too busy paying attention to the weapons. Based on that, I really don’t know why, but I do know laowai refers to foreigners. That’s for sure.
You can't use HMG like GPMG for the simple reason of ammo volume.
Sure the gun is smaller and lighter, but the volume and weight of the ammo doesn't change, so you are only carrying about half the amount.
Not to mention the bulk of 12.7mm class weapons. With a GPMG, you can still maneuver similar to a rifleman, but not so much with a HMG.
