telerobotic surgery is highly dependent on a stable uninterrupted 5G internet connection (every move by the chief surgeon at the robot control console has to be transmitted in real-time to the patient), and for the Peace Ark at Benin to be connected to Shanghai in such a high fidelity state over such a vast distance speaks volumes about the state-of-the-art telecommunication prowess of China. I wonder if satellite communication is involved in this surgical process. If yes, more wow and wow.
lastly, I wonder if the robotic equipment is home-made, or by DaVinci.

those local dignitaries looked impressed. it is good for China Navy ships to pay port visits here and there, to win friends and impress people. A strong navy would help to build trust and discourage weaker nations from choosing sides at the expense of China's interests.
