Wasn't that her intended destination before the fire?
Saw some claiming that there are recent plans for the former Minsk to be retrofitted into yet another floating theme park. No idea how true is the claim.
Still in better shape than the Kusnetzov.
Supposedly the upper decks are constructed out of aluminum magnesium alloy. Not conducive for damage control.
The PLAN is prioritizing the development of what it calls “four core operational capabilities.” These capabilities include 1) integrated near seas operations, 2) far seas mobile operations, 3) strategic deterrence and counterstrike, and 4) amphibious warfare.

It’s beautiful, do you think this will also be used to detect stealth bombers in addition to ballistic missiles?
What’s interestng is that the USA uses destroyers in the ABM role, but China builds specialist ships, making their fewer destroyers more effective.
