So they aim for direct hit with these guns, telemetry is a clear improvement in that case. They probably gain some range with discarding sabot run.Nice job. AK630 ammo uses HE-FRAG while 730/1130 ammo uses discarding sabots.
It all about cost effectiveness , sabot is a faster round ,it also has a better ability to stop anti ship missile since most of them has a harder shell to penetrate ships , so proximity round aren't enough. Is that tungsten alloy penetrator? Dayum son show me the money.
This logic does not make sense, the AK-630 has a rate of fire of only 5,000 rounds per minute and the AK-630M1-2 is actually two AK-630s mounted in one turret.Russian's don't use sabot cause the don't have the budget , and also their accuracy for terminal defense is not high enough so they went with higher fire rate to raise the chance of impact ,note that the Russian one is 10K rpm while the rest is 5K rpm-ishView attachment 88105
2x5,000rpm is still 10,000rpm. If you were to bunch 10x1,000rpm guns together, they're 10,000rpm all the same. This logic does not make sense, the AK-630 has a rate of fire of only 5,000 rounds per minute and the AK-630M1-2 is actually two AK-630s mounted in one turret.

The Chinese Type 730 and 1130 CIWS actually have higher rates of fire (5,800 rounds per minute and 10,000 rounds per minute) than the AK-630 and AK-630M1-2.
I don't get your point... and I dont think you got mein.2x5,000rpm is still 10,000rpm. If you were to bunch 10x1,000rpm guns together, they're 10,000rpm all the same.
Same difference between 1 gun doing the job of 10 vs 10 guns doing the job of 1.
How many rounds can one gun capable of 10,000 rounds per minute churn out, per minute? 10,000 rounds per minute.I don't get your point... and I dont think you got mein.
