I failed to match the ship structure in the missile launch video with that of type 055. And neither does it match the ship structure of weapons testbed ship #892.

Is the video from Dafeng Cao authenticated?

Rear VLS of the 055 is confirmed to be 9m deep ones, since YJ-18 is launched there.

A hypersonic antiship missile can also use this depth but maybe more.

It should be noted that this aft vls section looks to have the potential of being modular. What I mean modular is that you can design different versions of the ship with this section changed to different sections, like more VLS or even deeper VLS or even a new VLS while the rest of the ship is unchanged. I kind of think that a hypersonic antiship missile might require a VLS that's even bigger than this, and you may have to create a 055 variant with such a VLS. The special 055 would be the same as other 055 except you have a different aft VLS section with these bigger, deeper VLS switching out the current section during the production line. But of course these modified 055 variants may not have as many total missiles, with the front section VLS still retained.
