Lots of sub hunting capabilities added in 2021. Maybe that’s the purpose of the frigate on 24h standby between Taiwan and Japan,

Yes, look like T-AGOS (to use US terminology) SWATH hulls with very large towed arrays, but otherwise unarmed.

Type 082IIA mine countermeasures vessel. A pretty advanced ship with a composite hull and 5 remote-operated robots.

New working blue uniforms, similar to the old working blues. The color looks darker, and I think the hats are new, as are collars that can be turned up. Also, the old blues didn't feature so many patches and insignias.
