Looks like what you would get if a scientist/doctor were given body armor and a gun. Jokes aside, I actually like how it looks.

Look like protecting suit against chemical spills.
Is this the same as this?
Or another instance of 24 hour presence?
I feel like these NBC suits would tear easily when being put on with heavy equipment in a rush. Also, probably not feasible in certain hot climates, although better to train your personnel in more adverse conditions than what they may actually encounter.
It is in the same general location. I'm interested in PLA underwater presence but we will never found out about those.
I think it is to protect against COVID.

Yes, those are PPE for COVID protection. PLAN NBC suits are made of different material and colour.
