It is just a list of companies with their ranking in the bidding for PLA's infantry night vision goggle. It did not reveal any specification, just the name of those companies.

The company ranked 1st is Shandong North Electro-optico Co., a subsidiary of North Electro-Optic Co., which is itself a subsidiary of Norinco Group.

The company ranked 2nd is CETC 11th institute, a.k.a. North China Research Institute of Electro-optics (NCRIEO) belonging to China Electronics Technology Group.

The company ranked 3rd is Asia Pacific Xuanhao Science & Technology Development Co. Ltd., belonging to a HK registered company APX Group Ltd.

The rest are just names of similar companies.

No need to apologize, it's good that you posted the info. Even if no specification was revealed, the list tells us that when it comes to night vision equipment there are a lot of qualified suppliers (both state owned and private) for the PLA to choose from, it is a lot more than I expected.

I wonder what's the other 2/3 of the full content? Can you post the source?

It has been a week since the last time I saw the source of this news…I'll have a try to find it again,but to say the truth I dont think it's of much possibilities.

And,as the information from China Military Forum which I can find and understand "properly" in the last days,this vest is described being comparable to IOTV GenIII which equipped widely in US Army.

CAPF always seems to be years ahead of the PLA in terms of personal equipment.

They're the only personnel who go into active combat on a regular basis. Drug smugglers and separatist terrorists armed with military-grade weaponry, in addition to domestic violent criminals with homemade guns, give the CAPF plenty of incentive to spend that addition money to protect their front-line personnel.

The PLA, although with less emphasis on "hi-speed, low drag", do equip their troops with pretty comprehensive kits when they're put in harm's way, i.e. the South Sudan PKO units. Additionally, I think the SpecOps units of the PLA use very similar kits to the CAPF operatives, dressed in similar dark jungle camo, with FAST-pattern helmets and a compact plate carrier. So it's not like the PLA is completely oblivious to what their internal security counterparts are developing.
