Could be; there was some previous discussion about testing a new 155mm naval gun. The angle makes it hard to compare these new pictures with the older ones.

Maybe just the angle but the barrel seems pretty short for the caliber. Looks like something a low velocity mortar would have, doesn't make sense from a naval perspective though.
