To be clear, I am well aware of the exploits of Ian Thorpe, Shane Gould, Kyle Chalmers and they are clearly gold medalist champions, chapeau to them and their abilities.

But I have yet to meet a real "Australian", and by that I mean NOT someone whose parents came illegally on fucking boat from Europa 100 years ago and just happened to wiped out 99.9999% of the real australians along the way.

You want a real Australian olympian, how about Cathy Freeman. That is a true champion and the REAL inspiration.

I don't like the way FZD plays. Like he's puts himself in dangerous situations where he's about to lose. It's almost like he only plays well when the pressure turned up to Max. Maybe it worked when he was younger but it's very reckless to do it now he's closer to 30.
