Every other source is outdated.
Problem with narrative that Bulsae-1 is Malyutka is because North Korea operated Shmel before it that was first ATGM by Russia/Soviet Union.
It is entirely possible they called their first ATGM per the Russian name way back, before name convention Bulsae was adopted. Like T-34-85, I dont recall it getting a Korean name since it was so old.
My 2nd guess, and this is only a guess: Bulsae is a name reserved for ones they fully mastered production technique with. Same goes for other 'Korean named weapons'. Chonma tanks were named, but the predecessors (like T-54, T-34-85)were not. I don't claim this is true, this is my guess only.
