Russia can just simply do the same here with regards to MiG-29 variants.
Most older Russian mig-29 airframes are quite heavily worn out, though.
There is some opportunity to assemble parts which are still around since 1993 (in particular, India looked at them before 2022), but overall it isn't as simple as it may sound.

mig-29m2/mig-35 airframe is available(the latter is desirable as it's quite new and thorough upgrade - maybe even able to even out 1st gen kf-21), but any reasonable quality satellite footage will immediately tell them apart from the vanilla airframes.

RUSSIA Mig-29SMT in storage at Millerovo airport Rostov region and Kursk airport before October 2022, then all were moved, it was thought to be reactivated for Russia itself, but the Russians currently do not use this type of in combat aircraft.
Therefore they could be made available for transfer or sale to friendly countries, certainly after major repair work

That's a lot of MiGs... Enough for a fully-equipped regiment.

North Korea's first priority will be to fully equip the 57th Air Regiment, before considering replacing the less cost-effective MiG-23s in the 58th Air Regiment.

Don't know, while they're a huge step up compared to existing fleet, even these represent de facto phased out capability around modern world.
Solid ca.2000 capability level in 2020s world.

Yes, those have digital radar and (can fit) a fair digital self-protection jammer, yes they're ARH carriers, they're multirole etc.
But still, there's reason Russia itself replaced them. And while they're capable enough to counter current kf-16s, anything more is a stretch.

Problem with MiG-29/35 is use of two smaller engines compared to two larger ones on Su-27/35 because insistence on two engines by Soviet and later Russian air force, if it had single engine of same type as used on Su-27/35 then MiG-29/35 would have been more viable fighter jet.

It(rd-33 and mig-29) was available earlier than al-31 could be.
in 1980s(last peak of CW and one closest to going hot), against huge pressure of US 4th gen tide, time was gold.

+mig-29 was always more of an F-15ish hornet rather than a communist f-16.

Honestly not surprised that Red Effect does not read much or do research as if he did he would know that Bulsae translates to Phoenix and Phoenix-4M(Bulsae-4M) was sold to Hamas while original Bulsae-4 was marketed as AT-4MLB in 2008 to military of Myanmar/Burma.

Bulsae-1 is Shmel
Bulsae-2 is Malyutka
Bulsae-3 is Fagot/Konkurs
Bulsae-4 is Bulsae-3 with LBR SACLOS
Bulsae-5 is Kornet
