South Korea will go further and donate weapons and military equipment to Ukraine, something they have not done at the moment.

For their own money - yes, because Ukraine doesn't pay for anything. Not like they can bring anything to the table others already haven't.

But their security and dreams of finally strangling the North will deteriorate further and further.

There is a whole range of new weapons that can be sent to Ukraine. The Ukraine war would be turning into a South Korea and North Korea proxy war.

*do so more openly. They have already sent ammo and other things, lets not pretend they have been particularly neutral here.

And lots of "if" and speculations about that South Korea will actually end up sending. Plenty of lofty claims, little to back it up from almost every Ukraine backer. Specially since it is a two way street and NK can receive advanced stuff.

None of those represent anything new, that already wasn't there.

Russia, on the other hand, can literally fill DPRK with things they didn't have before(if anything, Russia was a ROK tech supplier). From food (which "good" Korea and US did their best to deny them even at UN level) and basic mineral resources to air forces, all sorts of space/air tech, etc.

Fissile material would be fun, for example - just to see, how fun the peninsula will be if the US nuclear umbrella is checked by assured DPRK retaliation.

South Korea isn't just selling ammo to Ukraine. They are also selling lots of military hardware to arm Poland to the teeth. This includes tanks and artillery.

I am fairly sure that Russia will try to be restrained, at least initially, and it is likely that lower tier hardware like the MiG-35, Yak-130, and Kilo submarine will be sent. If South Korea then sends weapons into Ukraine, then this could be upgraded. Higher end weapons could be provided. Lada submarines, Su-75 when it is available, etc.

Licensed tank production could also be furnished to North Korea just like they setup T-90 tank production in India. Or aid could be furnished to help improve North Korea's own native tank program.
