farm in Hunan province just had a great harvest of the first growth. The highest crop production is measured at 830 kg/mu while the average is about 788 kg/mu. Harvest of the second growth will be in about 2 months and it is expected to have crop production of 400 kg/mu in average.

This farm is a pilot project to promote unmanned ratoon rice farming in China. Ratoon rice farming already requires less labour and energy than regular rice farming. Using automation can cut down the cost even further. Lighter unmanned harvesters with narrow tracks can reduce soil compaction, too. The team is hopeful that they will reach the annual crop production of 1200 kg/mu next year.

8月15日,湖南益阳大通湖区千山红镇再生稻无人农场示范基地进行实割测产,测产专家组测得头季再生稻亩产最高为830.7公斤,平均亩产为788.2公斤。这是全球首个再生稻无人农场今年首次播种后的首次测产。

2022年,“十四五”国家重点研发计划重点专项“长江流域再生稻产能提升和优质高效技术研发与集成示范”启动。该专项由华中农业大学牵头,重庆市农业科学院、湖北省农业科学院粮食作物研究所等5省市的10家单位参与,旨在提升长江流域再生稻产能,促进再生稻产业化。

湖南宏硕生物科技有限公司联合中国工程院院士、华南农业大学教授罗锡文团队,华中农业大学教授彭少兵团队,湖南农业大学教授唐启源团队,在益阳大通湖区共同创建了首个全球再生稻无人农场。

该无人农场通过“农机+农艺+智能”,利用中联智慧农业平台打造了一个属地化的智慧农业大脑和数字农业展示样板,实现了水稻生产全程数据采集分析,农事指令智能决策,农机作业智能执行,水稻耕、种、管、收、产、供、销环节全程溯源。2023年,科研团队重点对减少头季收获碾轧、机械化除草、无人机变量施肥等技术进行了攻关。

罗锡文说,再生稻就是在上一季留的茬上再长出来的稻穗,第一季割茬整齐、碾轧少,下一季就长得好。“耕整环节,我们采用无人驾驶旋耕机,地可以整得非常平;种植环节,我们采用无人驾驶的水直播机、旱直播机和插秧机,行距、穴距、播量等非常均匀;田间管理方面,施肥、施药都采用无人驾驶喷雾机,雾量非常均匀,喷施效果非常好。”罗锡文说,这说明无人农场技术特别适合再生稻生产。

“收获过程采用了无人驾驶和窄履带技术,减少了碾轧,有望在再生季使亩产达到400公斤。今天的测产结果让我们对无人农场建设的信心更足,团队明年将向两季亩产1200公斤冲击。”罗锡文表示。

Ultra-low loss optical chip technology realizes industrial mass production​


Hangzhou Xinao Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. has independently developed a set of CMOS subtractive chip processing technology (Subtractive Process) based on 6-inch wafers. , passivation and other technologies, and successfully prepared a silicon nitride optical chip with a thickness of more than 810 nm and an optical loss of less than 0.026 dB per centimeter. The Shenzhen International Institute of Quantum Research team conducted a systematic and comprehensive analysis of the optical properties of these optical chips, such as loss, dispersion, coupling strength, and uniformity. The results show that the comprehensive performance of these silicon nitride optical chips has reached the best level in the world. More importantly, the experimental characterization based on the annular microcavity proves that the silicon nitride process has a yield rate close to 100%. The achievement of this indicator effectively guarantees that the ultra-low loss silicon nitride optical chip technology can truly be applied.

At the same time, using these chips, the Shenzhen International Institute of Quantum Research team realized a silicon nitride chip-integrated soliton optical frequency comb, whose spectral range covers the entire C-band of optical communication, and the repetition frequency is in the microwave K-band. This chip-integrated optical frequency comb device can also be directly used in applications such as optical microwave generation, high-capacity coherent optical communication, and calibration of astronomical spectrometers.
