aqccording to wmf,the first batch of J-10A are programmed by C language,but next batch will be program with ADA95 solfware.according to the report Ada95 advantage of high C solfware was multi task ,multi processor .
aside from new solfware,other improvenment was fly by "electric'(?),IR sensor(similiar FC1,or imrpove version) and AESA.new gen.ram.

JH-7A will finish preparing 2 regiment in plaaf and 2 in planaf in the next 2 years. After JH-7A is modified, it's payload will increase from 9 to 10 tonnes, it also includes IFR, ECM. JH-7A's weapon system includes KD-88 (land attack version of YJ-83?), YJ-85 (air launched YJ-83), new YJ, new generation LGB, Beidou guided munitions, air launched long distance LACM will finish in the 11th 5 year plan (basically 2006-2010)

Whoa! Didn't we have a heated debate about this topic in March. I recall back then that a figure of 100 was considered an upper boundary. Where are the engines for these planes coming from? Most of us thought that J-11's would get the WS-10A's first, before the J-10.
I've always thought JH-7 has shown tremendous potential in the naval strike role. China it seems, has been successful in integrating good avionics and weapons into this platform. I'm wondering how they are increasing it's payload though by one ton. And how that will affect it's combat radius. I don't think JH-7 can be air-refueled. But I think you're right. The implementation of LGB's, and the introduction of a land atttack version of YJ-83 on it gives it a higher rating than what was suggested years earlier.
Just so we don't steer off course on this J-10 thread, I find it interesting that J-10 will have 200 units by next year. They're well ahead of schedule if true. And proves that J-11 is definitely not the priority for PLAAF.

Again, this is just a rumour, but seems to be from a credible poster. So, take it with a grain of salt I guess. When we mentionned 100 earlier this year, it's quite possible that 100 new J-10s can come out from then to the end of 2007. That would equate to 4-5 J-10s per month, not exactly earth shattering. I think we've seen with the recent WS-10A pictures from Zhuhai airshow (gerbox on the bottom), that engine seems to be going to J-10. I'm still waiting for another order of AL-31FN, not sure if it will come.
As for JH-7, I suppose they will find ways to reduce the weight of the airframe or increase the internal fuel. I mean, the payload increased 1500 kg from JH-7 to JH-7A.
