LiAuto #1 among the new EV companies, and by quite a large gap. It has really separated itself

Tencent also looking to get into smart car and ADAS business. Teaming up with Unity China for more accurate navigational maps

Denza to launch in June. Has hit 10k in blind orders
Focusing on PHEVs suvs was brilliant from Li Auto. Though I'm surprised their moment hasn't been hindered with the policy changes that take PHEVs out of the running for NEV license plates.

yikes, look at these prices on Audi Q4 e-tron. They are selling for $50k outside of China, so they actual prices in China are 2/3 of what they try to sell in America

Audi is no longer top tier in the luxury market in China. Got replaced by Li Auto.
Also I keep hearing the German cars have really bad software.

Can also point out that the structure of the sales are drastically different.

I hope Changan becomes the Hyundai-Kia to BYD's Toyota

On a side note, Korean research firm predicts that BYD will hit a cap of around 4-5 million by 2028 and get overtaken by Tesla and VW

I think BYD might indeed hit a cap if its overseas expansion doesn't work out well, but I wouldn't be making any predictions so soon. Koreans just want to see BYD fail.

And I just don't see Tesla being a 8 million company. GM and Ford won't let that happen.
