BYD's new Dongguan auto parts plant has opened up. Will be producing stuff for Fudi.

Do you know if Chile is considered a "friendly" country under the IRA? It seems like BYD is exploring Li supplied from Chile, battery built in Brazil, and cars assembled in Mexico as a way into the US market.
I haven't thought about that. I think Mexican built cars into canada is more likely
another major Chinese MMW Radar producer is WHST (森思泰克)
They have 4D radar and 3D radar of different resolutions. You can see what a 5 radar configuration looks like here. The front one is the most powerful, followed by 4 side radars
you'd use one of these 2 4D MMW radar for frontal with exception distance, channels & angular resolution
When combined, it looks something like this thru advanced computation & sensor fusion
This above setting is tested on ChangAn DeepBlue S7
STA77-6 is first unveiled on Li Auto L7. It will be produced in ShijiaZhuang factory in the future, with capacity for 10m per year

new B-12 12m e-bus unveiled by BYD, uses cell to chassis technology with blade battery & 500 kWh battery pack for 600 km range on single charge. CTC tech utilizes a new 6-in-1 controller that w/ Sic Tech & two hair pin motors. So instead of 8-in-1 E 3.0 for cars, we have a 6-in-1 controller for buses that is more efficient. 600k range is pretty good for buses
Also worked with Spanish company UNVI to make the DD-13 double decker bus. Sounds like UNVI will be manufacturing it but it uses blade battery & wheelbase tech
