Greater Bay Technology first factory of ultra-fast charging batteries
Factory for operation : 2023-10
The overall planned production capacity of the "Juwan Technology Energy Storage Device and System Production Base" project is 8GWh/year, with the ability to support 120,000 new energy vehicles. It covers an area of approximately 189,000 square meters, including the battery cell production workshop , battery safety experiment workshop, test workshop, trial production workshop, PACK workshop, etc. After completion, it will focus on the R&D and production of XFC (eXtreme Fast Charging) ultra-fast batteries, new energy storage cells and PACK integrated systems.
The battery independently developed by the company only takes 7.5 minutes to charge from 0% to 80%, with a maximum charging power of 480kW and a cruising range of 400-500 kilometers.
On June 6 this year, GB Technology launched a new product "Phoenix Battery" with an energy density of up to 260Wh/Kg and a range of up to 1,000 kilometers on a single charge.
GB Technology (Guangzhou Greater Bay Technology Research Co., Ltd.) was established in September 2020. It is the first mixed-ownership high-tech private enterprise incubated internally by GAC Group. It is composed of the leading technical teams of GAC Group, GAC Capital, GAC Research Institute and the The three-party strategic partner shareholding platform jointly funded and established.
