some interesting charts
Looks like Denza & Li Auto have similar profiles in a lot of PHEVs > 300k
Audi & Lexus are sliding in their price point in China.

Carfans report. I would recommend all to read through the thread

AITO M7 has seen > 15k firm orders. Pretty good numbers. Again, they had the Mate 60 pull & price cut to thank for this

do you think everyone wants to rely on Huawei chips?

They got backup options. Everyone is using horizon robotics for mass market model.

Anyways, looks like NIO will be the first to enter US market
That looks like just another office? I don't think they'll open soon due to the IRA being discriminatory and the EVs not qualifying for the tax credit.

given their price point, i don't think it really matters all that much. Their product is good enough where the lack of tax credit or tariffs won't make a huge difference. Makes no sense for them to invest in a new office and invite mayor of San Jose unless they plan on something bigger.

After all, IRA isn't going away anytime soon. NIO has made plenty of moves stranger than this

This guy dismantle the battery of an Atto3. Maybe it worth to take a look what it looks like inside.
I don't actually know what i expected when scrolling comments section but those Westoid never fail to make me laugh! A comment like:" Thank Elon" for what? "Tesla is numba one" sure! "BYD is just average, need improve" still better then lot of Westoid car brand.

dolphin has been launched in Mexico city

NIO phone has been launched and now they are talking about a 2nd gen NIO Phone + wearables. wtf is NIO doing?
I've seen this before. What NIO is doing is the same as other companies that predict they will eventually lose in their main line of business. Use existing funds to diversify and hope one of their other businesses succeed.

Alternatively, it could also just be the Apple trick. Upselling existing owners of NIO vehicles. Get them hooked on an entire ecosystem of NIO products.
