BYD's response :
We resolutely oppose any form of improper competition and retain the right to legal lawsuits.

After understanding the situation mentioned by Great Wall, the testing vehicles were purchased, stored, and arranged for inspection by Great Wall. China Automotive Center (Tianjin) conducted relevant project inspections according to Great Wall's requirements. Strictly speaking, for testing vehicles that do not meet the requirements of the national standard, they should be sampled, stored, and inspected by a third party, and the test should be completed after running in for 3000 kilometers. However, for vehicles sent by Great Wall for inspection, the mileage during the inspection is only 450-670 kilometers. Given the above, BYD believes that its testing report is invalid and Great Wall cannot use it as a basis.

Our products and related testing comply with national standards and have been certified by authoritative national institutions.

We welcome government regulatory authorities to come at any time for investigation, evidence collection, and testing.

As the first company in the world to launch plug-in hybrid vehicles, BYD has more than 20 years of accumulation and iteration in plug-in hybrid technology, which is not as simple as some people think!

The development of the new energy industry has been quite challenging to this day!
It has been quite difficult for Chinese brands to grow up to this day!
We hope everyone can do more things that are beneficial to the industry and Chinese brands!

Everyone on Chinese social media is blasting GWM for their pettiness and stabbing a national champion in the back

On the other hand, BYD's Song Pro DM-i pricing was also considered disappointing, at 13.58w for base variant
It's actually a pretty decent price, but everyone got their hopes too high because of 998 Qin plus

so a comparison of 3 cars priced at 149.8K. I have to say that Leapmotor C11 is remarkably competitive in terms of what it's offering. Of course, whether that makes a difference is a different question. BYD does have all the helium. but in this case, I think it's fair to say BYD did not cut price enough

GWM is already causing BYD stock prices to drop. This is a buying opportunity. Li Auto stock is also a buying opportunity.

Prieto Battery in Colorado has developed a 3D lithium battery that can do a 3-minute full charge and a 50% charge in 90 seconds. Other parameters are better as well. Chinese companies need to up their game.

Which other parameters are better, compared to existing market leader products or their new products that are actually viable for production on the horizon?
(Wh/kg, life cycle, etc?)
