Some BYD news. Their global energy storage chief anticipates 100 GWh market for 2023. Said that they have 30% market share in America and have 30% lower cost than competitors. Remember, BYD is bringing out the blade version of storage cube next year.
We have photos of a large batch of Q3MAs getting ready to head to Long Beach. Rumored to have over 100 deliveries to North America this year. BYD has many North American orders (120 with Mexican company Marva). BYD's advantage is having full product lineup and its fully integrated supply chain. I'm assuming that they found it not worthwhile to build them in their Lancaster factory or that factory has maxed out in production capability. With this much business from battery/energy supply and commercial vehicle business, let's hope they don't alarm anyone with a grand PV entrance.
