There has been many cases where Chinese companies in India had to pay fines etc., BYD seems to be trying for the 2nd time now, they somehow feel EV's in India have high potential.
I think they are getting this wrong - unless charging infrastructure improves massively, EV's won't sell a lot in India. Not to mention the insane amount of GST in India.
