EU probes BYD plant in Hungary over unfair Chinese subsidies

Welp time to probe large engine vehicles for unfair subsidies and run negative campaigns on BBA groups vehicles.

If.they won't let china sell vehicles in the EU, then the EU should not be able to seel vehicles in China

Just goes to show how far down of these countries are tied to their perceived ideology.

The EU and Canada are targeted by Trump, going so far as voicing annexation, yet they still rather not not do business with china. This is why china is so cautious to invest in them. They are comprised through and through.

Many Canadians online are asking to take away 100% tariff on Chinese vehicles but the industry minister is not budging. So Canada will suffer US and Chinese tariffs, for what? For ideology

It's not ideology, the marriage of Western elites & their interests goes deeper than that. Trump and MAGA are far from the EU and Canada in ideology, but it won't stop Western elites from making common cause. At some level, it is the economic threat posed by China to their industries; at another level, it is the collective need to defend Western hegemony - it's all interconnected.

China - and Chinese companies - cannot count on selling to the West as their primary business strategy. As protectionism descends across the Western world, an era is ending in global trade. Strengthening the internal economy is critical moving forward.

The idea of building a closer trade relationship with China is still somewhat taboo, he said, and some have been "aghast" when he's suggested it. But he argues that Canada's stance against China has largely been to appease the U.S.: "What business quarrels do we have with China that aren't manufactured in Washington?"

It may be time to stop worrying about retaliation from Canada's unpredictable southern neighbour, Karaguesian said, arguing that Trump and others in the U.S. government seem to view Canada more as a "vassal state" than a respected partner — a pattern he said emerged long before Trump took office.

I saw a comment posted on reddit that went along the lines of this
Currently driving a Civic that costs about $37,000 new. Using about $300 on gas per month
There are no EVs in Canada in that price range, but the Atto 3 is a little more than that in Australia.
Basically the government is forcing a $3600/year tax to drive a gasoline car while creating more pollution.

It’s not call being Wumao or being SeeSeePee shill, it’s called exercising good judgment.
