I don't want to argue with you two on this point, since this is the wrong thread and I think it is kind of pointless. I just hope the situation continues its existing trend in north east India. Whoever is fanning the flames there I wish them best of luck. I'd prefer if the instability stays in India and not Bangladesh or Myanmar.
For Myanmar, no need for stability for entire country. Just stability in some places. Meanwhile you can use EAOs to be routes supply for rebels in India even with the cost of stability in myanmar.

There's also essentially no risk to China for the whole northeastern subcontinent to be in chaos either.

Sure PLAGF isn't battle proven like AFU and RU Army is, but most people, even some US nationalists, still credit them with being the strongest land army in the world. Moreover as seen in Xinjiang they are not just brute force only but can actually do counterterrorism arguably better than any other force on earth has shown so far.

For middle powers like Iran and Israel, maybe it's hard to deal with instability on the border, and they can provide a route for foreign intelligence agencies. But for China, PLA can slap down any attempt to cross the border without even trying, and if they get dragged into participating in the war, let's just say without even air defenses, they would also just get wiped with minimal effort.

PLAGF doesn't really do much in Xinjiang except India-related border stuff. Internal security is PAP business.

To be fair, I would prefer Myanmar to be passage to arming rebel in NE India than be a passage way for china to reach bay of Bengal.
