They constantly cancelled or delayed development plans with China. So I wouldn't say they were friendly at all.
I think the Mystine Dam Project was cancelled due to the Kachin Independence Army not wanting it (They have US connections remember).

KIA also has Chinese connections, and literally uses Chinese weapons. They were bragging about their FN-6s the other day. All the groups try to leverage what links they can, I wouldn't read too much into it.
Yeah but ideologicly speaking they're western aligned due to religon (christianity) it's the samething with the Kayins aka Karens.

I cant see any EAOs directly stopping projects at the behest of any foreign power or not attacking any specific project. At the end of the day, any conflict always prevent any development project. So by simply operating EAOs effectively cancel any projects around them.

The coup happens because the foundational instrument of the country, the military was in danger of being dismantled. You can argue that this was in opposition of western liberal tendencies of the Ang Sang Suki and camp, but the situation is close to say Pakistan, the belief that the military predominate over any political system.

Arakan Army in north Shan and in Rakhine itself should be seen as two different operations. They negotiate separately in regards to different situations. The Rakhine and the central government reached an pact over the Rohingya issue, as Rakhine were concerned they were about to become a minority in their own state. But excessive suppression had reduced the threat of Rohingya to point where the Rakhine no longer see the value of this alliance, which reignited the war in Rakhine state.

Seriously? You are using Christianity to justify a group/country veing allied with the West? You believe we live in the 11th century or something ? lol

By your logic Venezuela and Cuba should be strong western allies since they are Christian countries. Lool India cant never be a wedtern ally since they are not christian. Lool

The Russians are Christians too, do they look Western-aligned to you?

This isn't the 12th century. Nobody is launching Crusades anymore. Christianity means very little in terms of power politics.
I meant the fact that they're converted to christianity during colonial times by western missionaries and were heavily aligned with the west withthose connections to the western world intact so that is why they have western support.
