Chinese links to UWSA are well established. Other groups like MNDAA, TNLA, AA, KIA, they mostly deal with the Wa instead of China directly. The level of Chinese influence over the other groups varies depending on the circumstances.

Although the AA was initially trained by the KIA, it later aligned itself more with the United Wa State Army through the Federal Political Negotiation and Consultative Committee. All three groups are also part of the Northern Alliance.[36][37] In 2020, India accused China of assisting rebel groups, including the UWSA and AA, by supplying weapons and providing hideouts within Indian territory.[38] AA has received Chinese-made weapons, such as surface-to-surface missiles used during an attack on the Myanmar navy in 2019.[39] However, there is little evidence to directly confirm Chinese involvement as Chinese weapons may have been supplied by the UWSA, who has a closer relationship with China. The Arakan Army has targeted India's Kaladan Multi-Modal Transit Transport Project but not China's projects in the region, leading some to accuse China of diplo-terrorism.[37][40]

>It is notable that AA rebels, who have obstructed India’s Kaladan Multi-Modal Transit Transport Project (KMMTTP) at different points, have not, similarly, targeted any Chinese projects. The statement by AA spokesperson U Khaing Thukka in March 2020, that “China recognises us, but India doesn’t” further exposes Beijing’s connections with the AA.
Good to hear AA has good relations with China. China maintains good relations with AA probably because the Kyaukpyu port built by China is in Rakhine.

"When AA went through tough times in its early days of revolution, Chairman Peng treated us like compatriots, and we received his selfless assistance, guidance and concern,” said the AA leader.

“The most memorable thing in my life was in 2009, when our Arakan Army was formed with 26 men; we had only one gun. After Chairman Peng Jiasheng gave us 100 guns, we took these 100 guns and two RPGs to fight back to our homeland, Rakhine, and it was a crucial event in our revolution,” he added.

“Under the guidance of Chairman Peng, we, the Arakan ethnic group and the Kokang ethnic group, have established a solid friendship,” Major General Twan Mrat Naing said, adding that the AA as it exists today would not have coalesced had it not been for Peng Jiasheng and the MNDAA.

The link is well established because wa at least have firm control of territory bordering china like NDAA( mong la). Now MNDAA having full control of kokang, the direct link will be established.

I think china should go further for more proxies like nagas, kukis and zomi along Myanmar India border. This will fully block India and also help china so much in the event of conflicts in southern Tibet.

There is no evidence that the US (or anyone else) sponsored the military coup, and no justification for it either. Domestic political factors explain everything well enough.
I think the most possible candidate is India with Russia assistant.

I also think this is just internal strife inside Myanmar proper. The previous government was an obvious Anglo puppet. But it's not like Russia has major interests in the country. Plus even the previous government had deals to buy Russian weapons and the Russian government is fine dealing with either.

Let's face it the military junta in Myanmar has been in power there for most of its recent history. Much like Egypt or Pakistan seeing the military coup the civilian government in Myanmar isn't surprising at all.

I firmly believe this is China's countermove to the US-sponsored military coup against Ang Sang Suki.
Thinking that the US sponsored the coup is about on the same level as how in the west everyone seems to think China was behind it. It's nonsense.

The previous government was an obvious Anglo puppet.
If you mean the Suu Kyi government, they were better friends with China than the military ever was, even if they made more concessions to the west.
