Well, we saw it this last week. Loved it.

Having seen the first one when it came out in 1977 at the age of 21, and then watched all of the others as they came out, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it.

My wife and I wondered towards the end f we were even going to get t see Luke...and then we did right at the last...and he looked the part of a wizened Jedi Master.

Will look forward to the VIII in 2017 and the Rogue One backstory film in 2016.

My son and one of his daughters are going to see it with us on Monday for round two.

So far is is breaking almost every single record. As it sits now, after Friday, it was at $440.4M US and $449.5 M international. Total of $890 M. It will cross over into $1+B this weekend, fastest to do that too.

I think it helped a lot that Disney basically invited every movie critic from TV, print, and even fan boy sites on the web to the premiere. They literally walked the red carpet with the stars of the movie and celebrities that were invited. And to top that they were all also invited to the after party where good food was served and they can again mix and mingle with the stars and celebrities. And the result was they got a 95% Rotten Tomato rating.

So there is a Dark Side of The Force, and it is strong...

My wife and I and our youngest son (26) got together and watched the new Mission Impossible; Rogue Nation, with Tom Cruise, after celebrating my wife's birthday. . It was classic Cruz and we really enjoyed it.

We did this after I took Gail for a steak dinner at Chandlers for her birthday. Whew was that good steak....but whew was it also expensive! Good thing my oldest daughter had given us a $75 gift certificate for Christmas to go there . Hehehe...but it wasn't enough! LOL!
