. If my CBG is moving to point X averaging 20 knots (with burst to the high 20 knot range), how does your KILO get in front ot it? Not that you have 12 Kilos because you have problems with a couple of them and potentially under trained crews trying to get up to speed. So if you are lucky (and remotely realistic that you do everything to get them ready for 0 hour), you have 8 Kilos available. So where are they? Any of them in the strait? Are any of them along the islands where a CBG might hop from one side of the island line se of Japan? Are they in the Phillipene Sea? They can't be everywhere. They can't move anywhere fast. They can do 15 or so on the diesel - REAL noisey and have some good range. But at 3-4 knots they can run for 100 something hours, however, at top submerged speed on batteries they can only do 20, and probably only do that for 3, 4 or 5 hours. Invisible My Ass. Invisible on a very narrowly defined rule set that would need to be broken to do a smidgen of what you say ML.
